The Death of Samuel

25 Samuel died. All Israel gathered together and mourned for him. They buried him at his house in Ramah.

² There was a man in Maon who made his livelihood in Carmel. This man was very wealthy. He had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats, and he was shearing his sheep at Carmel.
